Fatema Agarkar - Edupreneur
Fatema Agarkar is an edupreneur, educator, and consultant with over 25 years of experience shaping India's education landscape. After beginning her career in banking and management consulting, she moved into education, going on to establish over 50 institutions, including preschools, national and international schools, and a special needs school. She is Founder of the Agarkar Centre of Excellence (ACE) and advises schools and education leaders across India on curriculum design, school transformation, and teacher training.
She holds several leadership roles in education bodies, including Vice President of the Early Childhood Association, Mumbai Territory Head for APER, National Council Member of the Association of Principals in India, Council Member with WICCI and FICCI Education, and National Council Member of AIGF, where she champions sports and eSports in education.
A published author and parenting expert, Fatema recently launched ACE Juniors, an Early Years Learning Atelier in South Mumbai, with plans to grow it into a full K–12 institution. Her work has earned her national recognition, including EducationWorld's Top 50 Educators Transforming Education in India and the National Icon Award 2026
